To verify the Certificate of Origin (CoO) you hold, please complete all the required fields: Certificate Number, verification code and country of request.
Please note: The period for verification of a CoO is two years, starting from the end of the year in which the CoO was approved.
This website aims to offer Chambers and Customs Authorities the possibility to verify the authenticity of digitally signed German CoOs online.
How to verify a digital CoO
Open the PDF in a trusted PDF reader that supports digital signatures (e.g., Adobe Acrobat Reader). Click the IHK signature or open the signatures panel. A valid signature confirms that the document is authentic and unchanged. If the signature shows invalid, modified, or untrusted, the document has been altered or the certificate is not recognized. This allows you to quickly check whether the PDF is an original issued by the CCI.
